In July of this year, a small Department of Defense (DoD) Agency, the
Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), celebrated the success of
consolidating a half dozen small office supply cabinets into a single
supply room.
Emails were sent to members of the Business
Enterprise, mandating attendance at the supply room's RIBBON CUTTING
CEREMONY. Dozens of employees stood in the hallway listening to
members of the Senior Executive Service give praise to the two people
credited with setting up the supply room.
Following the speak and
weak applause, the Head of the Business Enterprise cut the ribbon,
indicating the official opening of the supply closet.
Incidentally the supply room is only open for two hours each day, Mon-Thurs. Taxpayer money well spent.
