Press Assistant - Majority House Committee

Majority House Committee seeks Press Assistant to become part of three-person press shop.  Responsibilities include compiling daily news clips, maintaining Committee Web site, researching Committee issues and relevant news stories, updating media contact lists, and other administrative duties as needed.  Ideal candidate should possess strong communications and writing skills, knowledge of legislative process, and ability to take initiative.  Familiarity with web design, video editing, and other new media technologies is a definite plus.  This is an entry-level press position.  Please send cover letter, resume, references and writing sample via email to: pressopening@mail.house.gov
