The US Postal Service is bleeding money like a trauma victim, not surprising to anyone who has been on the Internet lately. The only snail mail people get now is junk, bills, and Netflix DVDs.

In any case, the Postal Service needs to find a way to stop losing billions of dollars per year. Cutting Saturday delivery and raising rates both appear to have heavy opposition, but won't it have to be one of them if the USPS is still going to deliver the mail?
