Where can I find a federal pay period TABLE? Not a CALENDAR. but a table. It used to be you could get a TABLE, listing payperiod, from and to dates. Now all I can find is a Calendar.

2009 version was much better. It was only a single sheet of paper and much easier to read.

Maybe I'm slow. Why have paydays moved from Fridays to Thursdays? Why is the first pay period in 2010 only for one week?
OhMyGov! November 14, 2009 7:08 AM
Jim, Nice observation...your electronic payment was pushed up for calendar purposes to Thursday since the last settlement/official pay date (typically a Friday) in 2009 would have fallen on Christmas day. The first pay period you are referring too, is actually the end of pay period 26 of 2009. Pay period 1 is 14 Jan 2010.

The payday is incorrect, our bi-weekly pay day should be January 8 (or 7th for EFT). Our pay days in December 2009 are December 11 and Dec. 25, therefore on the two week schedule - the first January pay day is January 7/8. This schedule is one week off.
OhMyGov! November 23, 2009 10:47 AM
Thanks Roberta! Our new improved calendar is simple, correct and fits on one page...

Dec pay dates are 3 Dec (as printed on my LES), 17 Dec, 31 Dec. 7 Jan IS only one week........
anon December 2, 2009 2:14 PM
Chris - they are discussing pay dates not the end of a pay period. The checks arrive as stated by Roberta and the corrected (and one page!) schedule.

It doesn't show pay period numbers!

What is the web address or where can I find a "PAID Day Number Calendar" for 2010. I have the 1/4 sheet sized calendar for 2008/2009 but cannot find one for 2010. For more detail, this is the calendar with E&L Cycles in blue, Payroll Processing in pink, Settlement/Official Pay date in green, etc. Thank you.

The 2009 HRM Office PAID Day Number Calendar which was available in color with payroll processing dates, pay dates, and pay periods was great! Why isn't there a 2010 available like that one?
Paul February 3, 2010 9:39 AM
Your pay dates calendar is all wrong. The official pay date (at least for DoC) is Thursday, and you're off by a week in that!
Lori February 17, 2010 5:52 PM
Here is the web site that has the 2010 HRM Office PAID Day Number Calendar: www.annarbor.research.va.gov/.../VA_PAID_DAY_CALENDAR_2010_aava.pdf

Thanks Lori for the VA calendar. It is by far the best!
