Congressman Steve Rothman (D-NJ), a veteran Member of the House Appropriations Committee, is seeking an experienced speechwriter/communications director for his Washington, DC office.  This is NOT an entry level position.  We are looking for someone with extensive communications and writing experience.  Responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy, as well as writing speeches, media releases, opinion pieces, email updates, and newsletters.  Serious candidates should write extremely well, have solid political experience and instincts, as well as sufficient technical skills to expertly manage our website.  Please email a cover letter, resume and writing sample (no more than one page each!!) to: bob.decheine@mail.house.gov.
