The Democratic Staff of the Senate Finance Committee is currently seeking a Press Intern for fall semester. The Press Intern assists members of the Press Staff with a variety of tasks including monitoring press coverage of Chairman Baucus and topics under Finance Committee jurisdiction, drafting press releases and other press materials, attending Committee hearings, organizing press conferences and other press events, researching various topics and media outlets, and completing administrative tasks. The internship is unpaid, but depending on individual school requirements, may be completed for college credit.
