Sometimes there seems to be an endless supply of crazy in government. Today, part of that supply comes from the website of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi.
Her website features an interactive Google map littered with little head shots of President Bush which demonstrates how the President's 2008 budget, submitted earlier in the month, affects various parts of the country. While effective, it seems a bit too much like, well, something we would create to make fun of government, not something the most powerful woman in the country would put out. And it's not as though the map is buried somewhere inside the site; it's right on the top of the home page!
In fact, we have done something similar in our Lost and Found section. But we didn't think to use little Bush heads like Pelosi did. Thanks for the tip, Speaker!
